Adam A. Naim

Principal / Designer

Adam A Naim has been practicing for the last 11 years with various Architecture, Engineering and consulting firms exploring and defining the design process based on the foundation of experiences complied from completion or architecture degrees from Cornell University and New York City Tech. The opposing yet complementary ideologies are essential to the balancing factors of architecture and Adam carefully balances the relationship between the creative conceptual thinking and technical aspects of construction, management and production. This background has equipped Adam to be involved with every aspect of design with an intense understanding and passion for the entire process from development to product.

Thomas A. Scibilia

Associate / Designer

Thomas A Scibilia, AIA, BD+C, has joined NA Design Studio's founder and a former colleague, Adam Naim; to practice interdisciplinary architecture with a high level of creativity and quality. His creativity and process is rooted in education at Pratt Institute as well as many years of diverse architectural experience in several other offices. Having significant expertise in single-family and multi-family residential construction, Thomas seeks to add his experience to NA Design's portfolio as well as facilitate expansion into many other disciplines. In 2011, Thomas has diligently prepared for and successfully obtained his architectural license and LEED AP certification; he anticipates that this experience alongside of Adam Naim's will position NA Design as an upcoming leader in design, innovation and sustainable living.

Design & Relationships

NA Design Studio integrates optimism, excellence and passion to produce designs of significance. NA has a diverse range of work from large commercial projects to single family home renovations and interiors. Each project is respected with the same rigor and passion through out the design process which is orchestrated through the relationships between site, client and designer. Every project is rich with potential and these relationships result in defining the objectives and goals of the projects from program and budgets to concepts and opportunities. Our approach is to realize the objectives and challenges of a project and to create a design process to be developed accordingly. Overlaid on every design process is meaningful creation of space, light, materiality and experience defined by the relationships..

Services

NA Design Studio services include zoning and potential design studies. Design concept and construction document development as well as construction administration. Our range of work includes new buildings, exterior and interior design of residential, commercial and institutional projects. Our design team has created a network of professionals, engineers, contractors and suppliers which we regularly collaborate with based on the needs and objectives of each project. NA is a team passionate for the design process thinking and re-thinking the technical and creative aspects of a project in relation to site, client and designer with a heavy emphasis on quality service.

In Process

Our work over the last year has stemmed out to provide additional services to our existing clientele and projects including identity consulting from branding to website development as well as systems integration for commercial and residential projects to provide control and automation of various systems from lighting, heating and air conditioning to audio, video, security and networking systems.
